  
This exciting, inspirational and dynamic Sound Healing Diploma to Practitioner level is now available, delivered over 7 months. You will be using your voice mainly for toning and ‘Sacred Sound’’.
Every bone, every organ of our body, every part of us, resonates to specific frequencies or notes. When any part of us is out of synchronization, our notes get blocked or ‘off key’, which results in a very discordant sounding orchestra! This can result in dis-ease and low energy. By using sound healing, you will be receiving the notes, sounds and vibrations you need to place you back in a state of perfect harmony and well-being. It will assist in expanding your awareness dramatically; you will gain much more confidence and let go of inhibitions once you can let your voice express yourself and allow the different sounds of light to enter your being and flow through you.

Course Content
The course consists of 5 modules over 7 days. Module 1 comprises the Introduction to Sound Healing Therapy (2 day) workshop which is available separately. To find out more please click here
Module 1: Introduction to Sound Healing
Day 1 - Finding your voice 1
Learn how to joyfully explore your voice and discover that everyone can naturally express themselves with a voice that is beautiful, unique and a true expression of themselves.
This practical day will focus on finding confidence in using you're voice, including you're inner voice, that will encourage self healing. The day will include the following:
- using simple voice exercises
- learning chants
- breath work
- listening skills
- group toning and healing
Day 2 - Healing with the voice
On this day, we will explore how your voice can help heal the body, mind and soul.
The day will include:
- The principles of sound healing
- Energy awareness
- How to give a basic sound healing treatment
- Releasing pain through sound
- Understanding the value of silence in sound healing
Module 2: Sounding the Chakras - 2 days
On these days we will learn how each chakra has its own individual sound and how we can best use sound to energise our chakras and bring about balance, harmony and health.
- Understand the healing process and the blocks to healing
- Understand the chakra system and the five elements
- Learn the sounds of the Indian scale and how to use it to balance the chakras
- Learn how to sound the Sanskrit bija mantras for individual chakras and how to balance the chakras with bija mantras
Module 3: Use of Tuning Forks and Tibetan Bowls - 1 Day
- How to use tuning forks in the human energy field
- How to use tuning forks to clear energy blocks
- Various techniques to make the Tibetan bowls sing
- How to use the bowl as a healing tool
- How to use the bowl for space clearing
Module 4: Using Crystals with Sound - 1 Day
- How to use sound to tap into the living spirit which is in all crystals
- How to link in to your intuitive knowledge and how to work with it to get the best from your crystal.
- How to best choose your crystal by working from your heart.
Module 5: Using Colour with Sound - 1 Day
- Learn how essences are made and how they can be utilised for well being
- Balancing the chakras
- Self healing
- Group healing
- Distant healing
Pre –requisites
Those students who wish to qualify as practitioners* will be required to study for a Level 3 qualification in Anatomy & Physiology. Full details of our ITEC Level Diploma are available by clicking here (you will be re-directed to our sister site Athena School of Natural Therapies). Alternatively, we welcome students who hold a separate but equivalent A&P qualification who may apply for Accreditation of Prior Learning. Full details are available on request. Study can be prior to, simultaneous with or following on from the Sound Healing Therapy course modules, to suit each students’ needs.
Students will also need to complete the ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Business Competence unless they already hold a Level 3 Practitioner qualification.
* We respect the fact that many students have no desire to become practitioners but simply do the course for personal development reasons. There is no requirement for these students to undertake study in A&P unless they wish to do so.
