‘Karuna’ translates from the Sanskrit meaning ‘compassionate action’. Karuna Reiki has developed out of the Usui Reiki tradition, and seeks to harness the strength of Usui Reiki through the power of unconditional love. Are you already a Usui Reiki Practitioner? If so, Karuna Levels I & II will be a natural progression for you. Karuna Master training is available separately for qualified Usui Master / Teachers.
During the Karuna I & II course you will receive a further 8 healing symbols, and the energy of the attunements will greatly enhance your own reiki experience and your healing work. These symbols harness and focus energy to work on particular presenting issues, and promote ‘gain without pain’ where it is not always necessary to relive moments of difficulty and trauma in order to release them safely from the energy system.
The International Centre for Reiki Training maintains a uniform approach to the quality of Karuna Reiki tuition, which has meant that some of the abuses found now in the Usui Reiki tradition are not apparent in Karuna. All Karuna Reiki Master / Teachers have to be registered with the Centre, and have undergone the same training programme and will cover the same syllabus with all students. |
