Crystals have been used throughout history by Shamanic Practitioners in order to deepen their connection to the earth and to the world of spirit. The natural energy vibrations of crystals resonate with the Shamans' energy fields to elevate and channel their awareness, and to allow them to enter the Lower, Middle and Upper Worlds of the non-physicalplane of existence. Clear Quartz features predominantly in Shamanic Practice and Shamanic Consciousness, with initiates often describing their bodies as having been filled with crystals.
Over these two days, we will be looking at the ways crystals can be used to aid the practice of journeying safely, in order to connect with spirit and animal guides, and ancestors to seek information relevant to healing. Crystals will also be used in the form of layouts and nets to access the shamanic world view and for self healing, to further illustrate the fact that the observed world is only part of the reality of our total existence. The drum and rattle are used to help focus the mind on the journeys ahead and to assist the experience.
Bring a good selection of crystals with you, although there will be some available for class use on both days. Be ready to work on the floor, and if you have a drum or a rattle bring them with you. A blanket and a cushion would also be useful.
