Crystal therapy is an extremely versatile and flexible therapy which can easily be combined with all complementary therapies or, indeed, as a separate therapy in its own right. From that point of view, it is ideal for both “absolute beginners” and those who already hold qualifications in other complementary therapies.
What is Crystal Therapy and how does it “work”?
Crystal therapy is a form of vibrational medicine and involves applying crystals or gemstones to facilitate healing.
Rocks and gemstones have spiritual and healing properties which we can access in a variety of ways. Crystals can be carried or worn on the person, or they can be placed in a location where their healing vibrations can be felt by anyone nearby. This can be either conscious or subconscious. Healers also place stones on or around their clients' bodies to balance the chakras and aura.
Each type of stone has its own unique “talents” or energy patterns which can be of particular value in certain situations or to particular part sof the body and energy field. Crystal and gemstone colours, shapes, and textures all have special meanings too. Crystals are also used for divination and meditation purposes.
One really simply but highly effective way to work is by intuitively choosing which crystals to use by noticing which stones you are attracted to. Keep your heart and hands open and allow the appropriate crystals to find their way into your life. It couldn’t be easier!

Clear Intentions offer professional training to Practitioner Certificate and Diploma levels which means that you will be able to practise Crystal Therapy safely and confidently on the general public once you qualify.
Course structure
Students will be taught a comprehensive range of crystal therapy disciplines and will be encouraged to find their own areas of special interest during this flexible and fluid course. Crystal Therapy Training with Clear Intentions is not dependant upon the purchase of vast quantities of expensive crystals and there’s certainly no expensive “kit” of healing stones required. On the contrary, our approach is simple and inclusive and we encourage students to find therapy in the simplest of ways and with the least expensive stones as much as with the rarer crystals.
Recommended prior learning
Although not compulsory, it is highly recommended that students undertaking this course should already possess at least a Level 3 qualification in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology. Training is available alongside or before undertaking the Practitioner Certification in Crystal Therapy via our sister company; Athena School of Natural Therapies. This is optional. Professional Practitioner Certification
This professional practitioner training programme is comprised of 6 days of face to face tuition (Modules 1-6 below), normally delivered one day per month* and accompanied by a Workbook, which will require approximately 5 hours of home study to complete per month.

Students will also need to complete the ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Business Competence unless they already hold a Level 3 Practitioner qualification.
Course content:
Modules 1 and 2 comprise the Introduction to Crystals (2 day) workshop which is available separately.
All modules comprise one day of class attendance unless otherwise stated.

Each module will also include plenty of meditation and visualization work. It really doesn’t matter whether you have meditated before or not because we will show you how easy this can be. Our students tell us that the relaxation and stress release which comes from the meditation work we do is one of the highlights of the whole programme!
Module 1: Introduction to Crystals and Crystal Therapy - how to choose, cleanse, energise, keep and maintain crystals, and learn some simple yet powerful self help techniques to take away for home use. Aura massage and work with crystal wands will be included.
Module 2: Chakras and Crystals - learn how to work crystals with chakra energy in order to balance, restore and cleanse this important energy system, using layouts and single crystals with meditation. Techniques for both prescriptive and intuitive layouts will be included.
Module 3: Dowsing - learn how to use a pendulum to tap into the inner sense of truth we all have within us, to help us identify energy concerns, healing needs and clarity of purpose.
Module 4: The Aura and Crystals - discover different ways to preserve the integrity of the aura with crystals, and enhance its strength and natural protection. Tuition will be provided on the composition of the aura or energy field.
Module 5: Crystals and Layouts, Nets and Configurations - the placement of crystals is a powerful way to create and harness energy positively, for ourselves and our environments. Learn how to construct and utilise powerful crystal net layouts for deep healing of the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies.
Module 6: Meridian Therapy – learn how to clear blockages in the meridians of the body for profound healing effect. Today will be dedicated to practical exercises specifically dedicated to stress release, emotional release etc. Upon qualification, practitioners will be able to offer their clients Crystal Emotional Stress Release Therapy as a separate, very powerful therapy.
