Reflexology is a system of treatment widely recognised for its benefits, boosting energy, enhancing all aspects of physical and mental health and inducing relaxation. However, the traditional method of administering a reflexology treatment is to use the reflexes of the feet and these are not always accessible. This workshop will give therapists a sound base for providing their clients with a full treatment accessing the reflexes through the client’s hands.
During the 1 day course you will learn
- What circumstances would make it advisable to treat the hands rather than the feet
- The detailed anatomy of the hand and which associated conditions to be on the alert for
- To read the map of hand reflexes and relate it to the accepted map of the foot reflexes
- To carry out a complete treatment on a client’s hands beginning with a deeply relaxing massage
This course is open to qualified Reflexologists and those reaching the end of their training and wishing to add to their knowledge and open up a wider range of potential clients. It will provide you with an alternative treatment to offer clients who are unable to access the more traditional method of treatment.
